Welcome to the New ABS Website!

The ABS is excited to announce the launch of a newly redesigned website. Beginning Monday, July 27, the ABS website has a fresh new look, equally at home on your laptop, phone, or tablet.

Features of the new website

Home page video – can you guess who the harpsichordist is?
Home page highlights current and upcoming events:
- Celebrating Bach, the 2026 ABS meeting in Berea
- Winners of the 2026 Monte Memorial [Piano] Competition

Site documents the Society’s activities and programs—is an archive, so to speak
Many pages have been updated, including the history of the ABS
Site provides connections to Bach resources worldwide
Site invites Bach lovers everywhere to become part of the ABS
Thanks to designer Glenn Ruga, the new site is very attractive

Rest assured that nothing has been lost in this update, although it will be several more weeks before the site’s entire historical content—such as programs and abstracts from previous Society meetings—is uploaded.

As you begin to acquaint yourself with the new site, please be sure to look closely at the pages describing our meeting which takes place 1-4 October in Berea, less than four miles from the Cleveland airport. The program is a wonderful mix of papers, panel discussions, concerts, a masterclass, and a visit to the Riemenschneider Bach Institute, and there’s plenty of time to visit with colleagues and friends. I trust you will join us!
